The set of Newsies is intended to paint the bustling cityscape of New York City. The set contains three two-story moveable units, and two stationary fire escape units on either side of the proscenium. Each moving unit has a flight of stairs and ladder for multiple entry and exit points. The two larger units are faced with bricks to delineate indoor and outdoor scenes.
